Requirement

The client IL&FS Technology Limited is Incessant Technology Solution Company and offers consulting, software development, system integration, data digitalization and management service and solutions, performance tuning solution and infrastructure management services worldwide. The client works closely with various government departments to create e-Learning projects. The client needed a course to introduce 9-14 year old children to various academic subjects. The language of instruction for the course is Marathi.
   

Project Brief

The project brief involves creation of flash based courses for subjects like Marathi, English, Geography and Economics for 4th, 8th, 9th and 10th standard respectively. WITS developed 100 lessons across subjects. The course is designed to engage children while learning academic subjects.
   

Technical

The course is structured into modules which are further divided into lessons. This content chunking ensures effective learning and retention.

The main characters in the course are Genie, Mini and Manu. These characters lead the learners through the content of the modules. The characters also detail information about the subject. Each topic includes the summarizing screen and summative evaluation screen to reinforce learning.

The course has been built as a Flash movie. The minimum requirement to view the site is the Flash player or the Internet Explorer 6.0 or any other flash compatible browser.
